Frequently asked questions
How do I book?
All bookings are made through Gîtes de France Haute-Vienne, online from each gîte's page (available in English) or by phone on +33 5 55 79 72 63 (7 days a week, 8.30 am to 8 pm French time). The booking office speaks English. To book the whole hamlet, ask the office for a quote.
Is bed linen provided?
Sheets can be hired (€15 per set; €15 per bed for La Maison des Roses). Please bring your own towels.
What about cleaning?
Please clean the gîte before you leave, or choose the end-of-stay cleaning option: €45 (La Bergerie, La Maison des Roses), €50 (Les P'tits T'hommes), €60 (La Grange, Le Vinaigrier) or €85 (La Maison de Clémence).
How is electricity charged?
Water is included, along with 8 kWh of electricity per day (25 kWh for La Maison de Clémence). Beyond that, consumption, including heating in winter, is paid on site based on the meter reading. Charging for actual use keeps rental prices low.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, free of charge, one pet per gîte. All the gardens are enclosed.
When is the pool open?
From May to September, weather permitting. It measures 10 × 5 m, is heated by a heat pump and enclosed by a safety fence that meets French standards.
Is there wifi?
Yes, in every gîte. It is countryside broadband, though, and can slow down when all the gîtes are occupied.
Are the gîtes accessible for people with reduced mobility?
The gîtes do not hold an accessibility label. La Grange and La Bergerie are all on one level; contact the booking office to discuss your needs.
