The hamlet
A 15th-century hamlet
The hamlet of Virat is a group of old houses, restored to welcome families and groups. The old walls, beams and fireplaces have been kept. Each gîte is self-contained and has its own enclosed private garden.
Set deep in the countryside, facing the Monts de Blond, the hamlet is very quiet, and walking trails start close to the gîtes.
The heated pool
An outdoor 10 × 5 m pool, heated by a heat pump and enclosed by a safety fence meeting French standard NF P 90-306. Open from May to September, weather permitting.
The common room
In the centre of the hamlet, a room equipped to welcome groups (tables, chairs, crockery), with a table tennis table.
The enclosed gardens
Each house has its own fenced garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. Pets are welcome free of charge (one per gîte).
